This was my second visit. My husband and I had such a pleasant experience the first time that I decided to have my 31st birthday party there. BIG MISTAKE!!! Some guy named Jason who I assumed was the manager was the cause of most of this mess. Where do I begin....1. had a reservation for 16 but was seated at a table for 4 and told that they would not set up for the rest of the party until later. The table for 16 was not set up until half of my guest began arriving at which time we were told to stand by the stage while they arranged the tables. 2. They would not split the check according to what my guests ordered-they insisted that everyone had to pay the same amount because I had too many guests...WHAT??? So they expected my sister, whose dinner cost $18 to pay $40 so they didn't have to ring up different amounts. If I had gone to Pappadeaux they would have done it. After 30 mins of arguing with them my brother paid for everyone's meal. 3. 5 minutes after the bill was paid we were told that we needed to get up so they could accomdate other guests-we would be taken to the VIP lounge. The VIP lounge was a dark room with a small TV in the corner with people eating off of trays-it was an isolation room-couldn't see or hear the band and the room was tucked away in the corner. 4. DO NOT VALET- the first time we visited this place the valet tried to give us someone else's car. This second visit, not only did they give someone my car but the lady they gave it to began driving off before realizing it was not hers-What's the point of giving us a ticket if you don't know how to distinguish which car belongs to which customer. 5. When asked why the band was starting to play 1 hour late I was told it was to ""keep down confusion while people are eating""-I have never gotten confused when listening to music and eating! Jason needs a course on resturant management and customer service. This place was a great idea but horrible customer service will be it's downfall.
Pros: Ambience and band are excellent
Cons: customer service, valet parking, management practices, cannot accomdate large groups effectively
