The Cantina Los Caballitos is one of the best new(ish) additions to Passyunk East. The food is absolutely fantastic and the ""appetizers"" are large enough to feed two people and leave you stuffed. The staff is always friendly (albeit occasionally forgetful), but they're all gorgeous to look at, so who cares? Some of my favorites--the empanadas, especially the beef with oaxaca cheese. The goat burrito is to die for, and the pork tacos are fantastic. For a yummy little side treat, try the garlic shrimp. The shrimp are huge, the garlic sauce is incredible and the little chunks of roasted garlic are nothing to sneeze at. \r

And the price is great--2 entrees, 3 drinks, and 2 cups of coffee was only $44.\r
They're my new favorite hangover cure--a mojito and a cup of coffee.\r

They're a little stingy on the guac though.
Pros: awesome food, huge poritions, low prices
Cons: where's my damn guacamole???
