Yes, I'm appalled by the expense and would always have to look elsewhere, EXCEPT in emergency cases. In such a case, then AMAH is the best place to go, especially for avian emergencies. I don't think Angell is set up financially for anyone who has a choice, but my parrot's life is worth ruining my bank account, I guess.
