I think they've matured as a shop since the first reviewer posted. I grab a kolache at least twice a week, and stop in on weekends for a late brunch (or a cupcake on my way home). I like the fact that the staff is small; they recognize me, we chat about random things, and in general, they're friendly. I get the feeling that if I asked for some custom-made creation, they'd try it out, and let me taste it. :-)
Pros: Convenient location to Steiner & Riverplace, opens early for breakfast, good cupcakes, kolaches
Cons: some items are expensive, hard to spot from the street
