First let me say I'm a professional model. No, I'm not talking about some backyard stuff, I mean billboards and TV commercials. I work in 3 different markets and Detroit is one. I'm not saying that to be all huffypuffy or anything,but the reality is that my skin is important to me--- it's my business. If it's not right, I don't make money. I've gone to a number of high end spas in Ann Arbor, Birmingham, Livonia and Bloomfield Hills, and let me tell you-- New Face New Body is the BOMB. Their face wax is awesome-- she knows EXACTLY how to do brows, doesn't give cookie cutter brows to everyone but truly works with your facial structure and hair texture to give you a unique look that's right for you. On top of that, her other facial waxing (chin, side, upper lip, etc.) is flawless. I've also had Brazilians done by her, and lemme tell you-- she really knows skin. She told me ways to prevent ingrown hairs without breaking the bank, and the rate for them ($25) is incredible. She's sanitary, clean and professional, and her staff is exceptional. They know everyone by name, they don't try to push products that you don't need. It's a small place in a nondescript shopping center on Ford road across from Meijer's in Canton but it's worth the drive. I send my family, friends and other talent people over there because she's just that good. They also do facials, massages, skin treatments and spa therapies.
I can't say enough good things about them; I've been going there for about 2 years now.
Pros: Easy parking, friendly friendly gracious service, and they want to help you look your best--from housewife to vixen
Cons: Closed on Mondays but they ARE open on Sundays
