From other reviews I was excited to invite 6 friends to join me for dinner. We had reservations at 6pm in a private room. Most of us arrived by 5 pm for happy hour and were informed that the only place in the restaurant that we could have happy hour prices was a small area on one side already crowded. We managed to squeeze in and when the bar bill was presented--we were informed that wine was not included on happy hour. We went to our private room (good space) and our experience evolved into a three stooges movie. Most ordered halibut and 20 minutes later were informed that the halibut was sold out (6 pm), some ordered sake and were informed (10 minutes later) that the house sake was not available. We received our order after waiting 45 minutes and one person never received hers. The food/presentation was above average except for the two catsup bottles that had 1/4 inch left in each bottle. We could only laugh as the night was a comedy of errors. Most of the evening the entire restaurant/bar had only one server.
Pros: good food in the north end
Cons: service and items not available on menu with limited choices
