I came across STTP while visiting Portland for work. Having dealt with many nasty infections in the past from piercings done at other places, my experience with STTP was nothing but wonderful. The staff was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable; the shop was spotless and not at all intimidating. Joel was patient and very thorough in the aftercare instructions. This is by far the best piercing experience I've had and if I wasn't living on the other side of the country in New York I would go back there for any and all future work.
