I decided to get a tattoo while recently in Waikiki. I have a couple other small ones, and my friend wanted a small one too, so we visited a couple of shops in the area and did some online researching. I chose Tattoolicious because the shop was open and clean, and it seemed more like a hip salon or spa than like some of the more old-school sailor or biker tattoo places you find in other areas (there is an Aveda salon in the space too). Not that those types of shops are bad, but Tattoolicious' space was more inviting for me.
Pros: Artist's skill and personality, atmosphere, cleanliness
Cons: Small flash collection, but the artists will help with designs
