Why wander all over the world for that delectable feast when it is right here in Seattle at Chez Shea? The eight course tasting menu with five wine pairings easily rivaled other great dining moments in Manhattan, Paris, Barcelona and Tokyo. Of special note were the local oysters which retained their full flavor from not being over chilled, served with a brut Rose; rare Kobe style tenderloin wrapped in crisp, paper thin prosciutto served with a Sangiovese; a balanced selection of bleu, triple cream, and medium firm goat cheeses; and a refreshingly delicate, piped pavlova topped with key lime mousse. The graceful service was impeccable.
