I would submit that the reviewer who came from NY did hit a bad night since having lived in Seattle, than SF and briefly in Hong Kong this would rank as a very solid place. Not overly fancy, which is great for me, but have been for dinner and Dim Sim.
Dim Sum is the best we have had in the Detroit area, on par with a market like Seattle though not SF. Good, not great selection and a good value.
Dinner was the unexpected surprise, one dish wonton/noodle soup was as good as I had in HK - and overall the food was very good to excellent though there was an ocassional miss. Even had Peking duck, and while not the best I - it is quite good. Not sure they do the spicy dishes as well but well worth the visit particularly for Dim Sum.
Pros: Good Value, Good Food, Good Service
Cons: Dim Sum crowded, ambeince a tad weak
