I have been to Patanegra only once, and the food was so bad I'll never go back. I started my meal with an awesome sounding duck confit and lentil salad, but was horribly dissapointed by the astounding lack of quality ingredients in a $15 salad. The duck was horribly dry and bland, and there was nothing much else to speak of. The paella, a dish that should be mastered in a Spanish restaurant, was dry, bland and devoid of character. I went into this restaurant with nothing but good intentions and searching for a good meal. What I got was below average service in the nearly empty restaurant, an empty wallet, and an unstatisfied stomach. You couldn't convice me to go back.
