Impressive web site and building. When I first went to this brand-new facility, I thought I was in for the best eye exam I'd ever had. The experience was factory-like. The Rx portion of my vision exam was done by an ""Opthalmic Assistant,"" in about a third of the time my past optometrists have taken. The optometrist showed up after the prescription exam was done, I guess to check for eye disease. At my insistence, the optometrist redid the refractive exam.
Lost sight of the customer, in the quest for $$$? I'm sure they'll make a lot of money, but not from me or my family. I'm used to paying an optometrist to do my eyeglass prescription. Why would I pay the same amount to have it done by someone with less experience and training?
Pros: Nice, new facility., Little waiting.
Cons: Factory-like service., Bedside manner., Not what I'm used to.
