After being turned away from three of our usual eateries due to Christmas parties, we called The Captain's Ketch to see if they could accommodate us. We'd wandered by it before but had never eaten there. They told us to come on by and we're glad we did. Though there WAS a Christmas party going on, it was in its own room (and the setup was quite nice - everyone seemed to be having fun and their private bar & food stations made us envious). Both the host and our server were friendly. The "upscale nautical" atmosphere is quite pretty and soothing. The shiraz by the glass was superb - we meant to write it down. My lobster ravioli was excellent but my husband's crab cakes were a bit dry - they needed a sauce. We'll definitely return.
