So I had been thinking of getting my belly button pierced and finally decided to go do it. I looked up places to go on citysearch and I liked what folks had to say about sttp. I went in after work on Friday and was greeted right away by a friendly gal with purple hair (I'm sorry I can't remember your name!). She talked to me about the different types of jewelry and prices, etc. and answered my questions about the procedure. I decided I was ready to do it so she introduced me to Alec, who was really friendly and calm and patient. He explained the procedure again and talked to me as if he'd known me for years. It was done before I knew it, I was expecting much worse to be honest. He explained the aftercare and told me to come in anytime if I had more questions or needed someone to take a look at my piercing to make sure it was healing as it should. The shop was clean and I had no reservations about getting an infection. I was really pleased when I left and will definitely go back when I'm ready for more!
