In April, after an eye exam, my optometrist told me that I was suffering from pressure on my eyes. My optometrist had given me drops to combat the pressure in my eyes, which after using for awhile helped somewhat. However, the medication left my eyes red and a follow-up exam a few months later revealed that the eye pressure had increased. This problem along with stress and what may have been the onset of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in my right wrist, led me to begin researching acupuncture and if it could benefit me. I searched many sites, including Citysearch. That?s were I came across Asia Tui-Na Wholeness. The reviews regarding it were favorable and since it is within walking distance from my job, I decided to call and set up a meeting. I met with Dr. Li and after a medical consultation, she started the acupuncture session. After that first hour long session, I felt relaxed and the pain in my wrist had lessened. After my second session, my eyes were feeling much better and the pain in my wrist was gone and hasn?t returned. After my third session, there was a follow-up eye exam and to my surprise, my optometrist told me that the eye pressure had decreased greatly, and I noticed that the red eyes that I suffered from have cleared up. I continue to receive acupuncture sessions each week and they always leave me feeling very relaxed.
