We dined here to try something different and I was pleasantly surprised by the food as well as the ambience. There is two parts to the restaurant really - there's the upstairs Yarrow Bay Grill which is more of a formal/upscale dining and the 1st level Beach Cafe which is more casual. The view is great especially at sunset and the food has been awesome (especially the crab and salads). Drinks are good and service has always been friendly. The downside would be lag time in service when they get busy - personally I don't really worry about that when I'm dining unless I'm trying to catch a movie or something. Wait for a table can be a bit at peak times. I would recommend going here in the spring or summer (although in the summer, you will have to contend with the Kirkland waterfront strip traffic).
