With much hyped anticipation, my wife & I went to trece to celebrate our anniversay. We were seated immediately in the main dining area. The bar and glass enclosed ""patio"" were packed witrh beautiful people. The dining room was about 3/4 full with a very diverse crowd. Our server was very knowledgable but the service itself was very disjointed with uncomfortable waits for drink orders and improper appetizers brought out to the table. I will say that the tableside guacamole is the best we have ever had anywhere!\r

My wife took the servers recommendation and ordered the Budin Azteca because she LOVED a similar dish at a restaurant in Winter Park Florida we ate at fresuently. She was VERY disappointed. The flavors were very blanc and the chicken was almost mushy. I ordered the filet & shrimp kabob (don't remember the menu name). Good flavor but I have a hard time believeing I was served tenderloin as it was very tough with gristle.\r

We went out to the patio for a drink afterwards. It was still packed with all the Dallas A-listers and hangers-on...definintely a great scene. We will keep this place in mind for Guac & 'ritas on the patio!
Pros: BEST EVER TABLESIDE GUACAMOLE
Cons: service sketchy, food inconsistent
