This isn't the best sushi I've had. It's not mediocre but even in Toluca Lake I've had better sushi. Santa Monica of course has some of the best in SoCal. I keep hearing about how great the sushi is in the valley but this as well as other places I've been haven't done much to convince me. Their fish selection was decent but they didn't have higher-end selections like swordfish or barracuda (which can be found elsewhere). They had many non-Japanese selections like dynamite rolls and whatnot, which weren't bad but diverted their focus away from their nigiri selections. I came here on the recommendation of a friend and it wasn't bad. But I'm going to keep looking elsewhere for sushi.
Pros: decent rolls, parking lot, ambiance
Cons: so-so nigiri
