I must admit, when we entered this BAR we almost walked right back out. I was not prepared for the multi-colored hair patrons, and rustic bar amosphere, but was determined to try the food, and settle into the atmosphere. I ordered the margarita after reading the rave reviews, and then the disappointed reviews. I have never had such a horrible "tequila"rita in all my life! It was probably four shots of tequila in a salted rocks glass, probably no juice or mixers of any kind, I will never do that again. We ordered the beef brisket fajita, took around fifteen minutes-perfectly acceptable time frame! We were beyond thrilled with the quality of the food. It was beautifully presented and served with a side of 3 tort's. I must admit I was a bit surprised that there were no rice nor beans etc. We asked for additional torts for $1. Two of us split one fajita, and were full (terrific drunk as well)! The bar was decorated for Halloween with various dirty mutalated dolls hanging from the ceiling, with cigars in their mouths. Quite shocking for some I would say. I don't know if the single black rose stuffed in vases filled with black sand were for Halloween, but if I had to guess I would say, they are not festive, but atmospheric decor! Basically we LOVED it, will go back, but I didn't want the eclectic atmosphere to make one shy away from the wonderful food and great music we did enjoy. I will try another drink next time with a juice or mixer of some type. (Honey was so wasted he rolled his fajita beef in his napkin instead of a tort at one point....lol)! We had a bit of trouble finding the restaurant-it is on the Stadium side of the city just past the river-super easy if you follow first avenue through downtown bearing right, cross the bridge, look to the right about the second light after the bridge. Look for it hanging over the city atop the hill, with the windows propped open out!
