Checked this place out after Bobby Flay challenged Ben (the Chowder guy) on his Throwdown show. He lost on the show to Bobby and I will go into depth about why but first, the place... At first, the restaurant looked like a typical neighborhood joint with tikki lights and surfboards as decorative ornaments. You also walk around in sand. The worst part was that were expecting good chowder and this place did not deliver. I had the Bahamian chowder (supposedly their bread winner) but it was tasteless, watery and non reminiscent of what a good chowder should be. Unfortunately I can't comment about much else since I didn't order a meal but the coffee was bitter and served cold! I would not return.
