We'd had paella in Spain and loved La Catalon's which no longer exists. Patanegra's paella had overcooked and hard sausage, the fish and rabbit were actually cooked just right, but not with the whole dish (I think they'd been added at the end). The rice had a smoked flavor (ugh). The salad was bland and came with goat cheese but the menu didn't say it was 2 slices melted onto two pieces of toast. The waitress treated everyone with disdain. There was a guy seated alone at a table for 2 next to us. The restaurant was only about 1/3 full so he moved to a table for 4. The waitress sternly told him he COULD NOT sit at a table for 4 but could move to a different table for two. After she moved him he got up and left.
Pros: nice space
Cons: food, wait staff
