I only joined City Search to be able to refute the utterly rediculous review about snotty service written by someone who obviously does not recognize quality. Granted, we all want to be made to feel special, especially when paying a high price, but honestly, are we really looking for an interpersonal realtionship with our waiter to make the evening? This restaurant is fantastic in every respect. I am from NY and have visited Boulevard several times and always been treated respectfully and warmly. The food is so elegant that some people may not 'get it.' It is understated and non-showy. If you want a show, go to the theatre. If you want a truley elegant mean, served by professionals go to Boulevard. And try having a conversation with your dinner companion.
