Tonight we ventured out for ""traditional American"" and we found it at Stanford's. A real top notch steakhouse right at the Lloyd Center. I have to say I have very rarely had a better steak and I look for them where ever I go. Everything was notably good; from the Caesar dinner salad to the perfectly steamed green beans. My partner in crime had the pork tenderloin, crispy out, juicy in, and the apple crisp desert was excellent. The decaf was good. The staff was personable, attentive and unobtrusive. They even bussed the tables discreetly. A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience, one of our best yet in Portland. If you haven't tried it get on down there. Parking is plentiful but could be a walk depending on the number of shoppers out on the night you go down. It's worth it, and the prices were VERY reasonable.
Pros: Excellent Service, Great Food, Extensive Bar Choices
Cons: parking
