This Taqueria is a personal favorite of mine. I eat here at least twice a month as well. They have a little bar in the back, though I've never stuck around to try it. The beverage list includes many local favorites, but also a very good selection of Latin American beers and juice drinks.
Romantic? Not at all, but not a bad place for a laid back dinner with a friend. Good for kids? Yes, during the afternoon. Large groups? I've seen large family meals (upwards of 10 people) on Sundays as well as local foriegn language classes (around 15 people) during weekday lunch.
The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is very laid back, the food is good and cheap, there's plenty of parking... what more could you want?
