Happy Hour Oysters are a Winner! 6/16/2005

I went to dinner, and I was ripped off. I went to happy hour, and I was happy. The choice that stands out the most, is the Oyster Rockefeller -- about $2 a piece but delicious! The choice I regret, the appetizer tower -- absolute rip off! At $33, I expected quality or quantity in crab cakes & calamari -- I got a few pieces at embarrassing Costco quality. The happy hour has the only reasonable price/quality ratio. The half-shell oysters are good -- and 50 cents each @ 3PM -- but the pan fried oysters is the winning choice, and should be ordered in pairs! The other happy hour selections are average at best. The bar has a huge selection, I recommend trying the blackberry margarita. Romantic? No. Casual? Yes. If you're looking for fairly priced oysters, happy hour is the way to go! Pros: Happy Hour, Waterfront Cons: Expensive, Parking more
