We ended up at Fork after much internet research on other restaurants in the Old City area. I was pleasantly surprised by the space-intimate, but lively enough to encourage conversation and a feeling of festivity. Service was good, but not outstanding. The food, however, was wonderful. The oysters had a lovely sauce that was perfectly paired with a sparkling wine-a delicious combination. The true highlight for me was the duck with the duck confit and wild mushroom sausage. It was absolutely stunning. The dessert was a fantastic bread pudding with vanilla gelatto. Delicious and in a great location-try it!
