We have visited the Harvest Vine before. Recently we visited on a weeknight . We found a table and thought we had time for dinner. We made our selections and closed our menus. Twenty minutes later the waiter appeared; we told him we had just forty minutes and wondered if we could dine. He replied, ""of course"", and left. He busied himself, chatting with other diners, cleaning tables, and didn't return. After ten minutes we got up; he appeared, we asked if there was a misunderstanding, and let him know we had to leave. He said ""yes"", sarcastically. We are aware of the value of relaxed dining, but we were merely making a polite inquiry about whether we could dine , not assuming so. We were literally speechless, never having been treated so rudely before. Sadly, we add this notation of poor service at a restaurant with wonderful food.
