This Wilshire location is the Rolls Royce of Marie Callender's. I think it used to be an old bank or something. The interior has dark wood paneling; the ambience is heightened by the live piano playing. They also have a bar. I'm not a drinker but the bar is close enough to some of the tables that you can watch the Laker game while eating. I know that Marie Callender's connotes a blase, suburban strip mall image. But this location is completely the opposite. After you eat, walk across the street to the La Brea tar pits!
Pros: beautiful interior, reasonable prices, short wait
