Tony's pizza is a literal ""shack"" of a place, sitting at the corner of Figueroa and Thompson in Ventura. The pizzas are never perfectly round. But here's why: each pizza is hand-tossed, right in front of you by one of Tony's friendly, super-casual pizza chefs. The place is always packed, service is slow, they don't deliver, and parking can be a drag. But the pizza is awesome! Even plain cheese, which I always get, is the best. It's a true original. Prices are extremly reasonable, but cash only!
Visitors to Ventura, if you're looking for great pizza, go to Tony's. It's a one-of-a kind experience that Ventura locals have supported for years. The menu is extremely simple. Pizza, and soda in cans. That's it!
