Whenever you ask for Italian dressing in an "Italian" restaurant, you should not be brought some white mayonaisse-based concoction. This is Milano's in a nutshell. They have a few good dishes but are about Italian as Chef-Boy-R-Dee. Milanos is far from being a good Italian restaurant. The portions, especially the seafood, are skimpy and over priced. (My $14 shrimp scampi came with 9 medium shrimp) and "Chef-Boy-R-Dee grade" pasta. On my first visit there, I sent my salad back because it contained a fly in it. Not a great first impression. The atmosphere is just ok, could be enhanced by the addition of a classical guitarist but hey, restaurant owners are greedy and I'm sure we won't be seeing live music anytime soon. Judging by the other reviews, Murfreesboro natives are: 1) easily impressed and 2) have never experienced a great Italian restaurant and have no basis for comparison.
Pros: not crowded
Cons: , not high quality, skimpy portions
