What a hidden gem of an Italian pleasure in the sunset. The minestrone is a bit salty and thick for my taste, but some may prefer it. However, the avocado/crab (super fresh) salad is wonderful. Ask for oil & vinegar on the side and a sprinking of blue cheese. The melon with prociutto had the ideal sweet/savory combo going on. And, the spaghetti with mushrooms (we shared) was traditional and quite good. Only our 3rd (yes 3rd!) basket of bread was warm. Our starter cocktails were a hit, and then we moved on to a average but good pinot grigio. The exceptional service and unique meditereanean and almost middle eastern temple-decor flare ambiance along with the local flavors make for a very nice experience in all.
