I challenge the creativity of a chef who can't make a dish without garlic. I also expect a $$$$ restaurant like Elliot's to be able to make dishes to order for patrons with garlic allergies. (Most quality restaurants in Seattle are able to do). There was only one dish on the menu that could be made without garlic (and it wasn't one that I would have chosen). Apparently everything is pre-made at Elliot's and the kitchen is only an assembly line. Also - ordered the smoked salmon appetizer and it was terrible - I think they forgot to cure & smoke it. In their defense, they did remove the salmon from the bill. Also, our server was great - no complaints about service. If you don't have any special requests eat at Elliots (but don't order the smoked salmon). And if you do, eat somewhere else. Pros: location, service more
