This is the greatest restaurant in all of L.A. I have lived here all my life, dined at almost every restaurant, and there is nothing that compares to Carmine's...The owner knows almost every patron who walks through the door and if he doesn't, he will get to know you by the end of your dinner. The food is authentic Italinan and I highly recommend the eggplant parmasean. The ambiance itself is old school New York...dark, cool, intimate with a great piano bar. If you just want to come in for a drink or to watch a game, sit at the bar...the bartenders will get to know you, as well. Honestly, the BEST place to drink and dine!!
