My husband and I went for our one year anniversary. The restaurant itself was very unique, with wooden plank walls and soft lighting. However, our meals left something to be desired. The food was only mediocre and cold and our service was not on par with the price.
We waited forty minutes before even being served our salad. Our waitress never returned with items which we requested and only stopped at the table twice during the entire visit. Our glasses sat empty after the initial filling. In fact she seemed to be annoyed when we asked for anything.
Pros: lovely rustic setting, great clam chowder
Cons: horrible service, poor main entree, no privacy
