I was excited about trying the new sushi place in Fremont, but was quickly disappointed. I asked for seating for one and was told it could be either 5 minutes or 25 minutes, as seating for one was the ""most difficult to seat"". The host seated parties before me. Evenutally I was offered the opportunity to put some of the sushi items into a ""to-go"" box and sit at the table by the window. I decided to leave. The host made a choice not to seat one in favor of larger parties for more $$. So much for creating loyalty. I'll be sure not to patronize their business and encourage my friends not to go as well. I'd rather eat at Chinoise on 45th where they have no trouble seating one and offer many benefits at their sushi bar including friendly staff and complimentary snacks.
