I had had dessert and coffee at campiello a number of times, but had the privelage of having dinner there recently. The word that comes to mind when I think about my visit is "original". I eat out constantly, but nowhere have I seen beef short ribs accompanied by pasta in a simple sauce of reduced vinegar. And it was soooo good. The sea bass was delicate and melted in my mouth. Wine list, reasonable, some cute boutiquey italians highlight. D'Amico, despite my secret wanting for them to do so, has never disappointed me. For dessert you MUST have the panna cotta. MUST. It was our server's first day and she was spectacular. Highly Recommended.
