The food is good overall. The beef brisket was the best in my opinion. It had a really good smoke flavor. The chopped pork was great and moist but the ribs was a dissapointment (small/not much meat). They put way too much sauce on them and was slightly dry and burnt. The sauce totally covered up the taste of the meat. So, order your ribs ""naked"". The sauce is very good though. I'm sure they are good but probably had a bad visit. The rest of the meal was good overall. The beans and ""lodge potatoes"" were great. The potatoes had a great taste to them even though they are not seasoned. It must be the lard they use to give it that great taste. The service and atmosphere was also great.
