I can't say much about gourmet italian food because, personally, i don't think fresh pasta tossed with garlic and truffle oil is gourmet. But, putting all that aside, the food at Romeo's is very good. I like the surprise of having a prix fixe meal in which you don't know what's coming next...but there can also be a down side. You may get a great dish for one course, and the next would be a very boring dish that you had at about a million other restaurants, like salmon carpaccio. I can't say anything against the service, though.
Pros: service, surprise
Cons: tight space, food can be boring
