I went to Vox for brunch on Sunday to use a $50 gift certificate I received. The food was OK, and service was poor. There was hardly anyone there, yet the waiter could not even refill our water glasses. When I received the bill, it was for $35 + tax and tip. I gave the waiter the $50 gift certificate and asked for change (there was no way he was getting a $15 tip). After talking to the manager, he tried telling us that tax and tip are not included in the gift certificate AND we would not get change from the $50. We walked out never to return. I would NEVER suggest this place to anyone unless they wanted to be treated terribly and eat mediocre food and drinks.
