Boulevard is still at the pinnacle of San Francisco restaurants after all these years. Rated the number one restaurant in Northern California by Zagat, it has a lofty reputation! And it doesn't disappoint.
The inside of the restaurant is magnificent. A wonderful blend of nostalgia and modernity. The food is delicious with the lamb and duck leading the way. The service is both welcoming and sophisticated at the same time, which is rare these days. The wine list is strong. The dessert menu is good but perhaps a little pedestrian. Reservations, often made several weeks in advance, are a must because Blvd. remains ultra popular.
