It's hard to describe just how good Giordano's is, but I'll try. Their crust is soft and tender on the inside while crusty and flaky on the outside, which I like, nice and hearty. The pizza is PACKED with cheese (i.e. there is lots of it), which is just the perfect type of mozzarella that is not too pungent nor soft and gooey and the sauce is a perfect compliment, just spicy enough but not overbearing. The highlight for me is the excellent consistency and flavor of the cheese. I might sound a little obsessive, but in Chicago there are a lot of places that serve great pizza, so one can get pretty good at differentiating nuances. I suggest a visit to Giordano's for anyone who likes food and has a Chicago size appetite. I promise that you have never had a pizza this good. Bon Appetit!
