There is no finer place in possibly the world to enjoy fresh oysters on the half-shell than at Elliott's Oyster House. The little beauties are never mangled, always ice cold, and served with the greatest mignonette I have ever tasted as an accompaniment. (red wine vinegar, champagne, shallots, and black pepper- FROZEN . . . beautiful!!)
The selection is always wonderful, the only drawback is the lack of pacifics in the summer when they are spawning, perhaps we all could pitch in and have an iceburg delivered so we could have Olympias all year round . . .
