I think I over expected. Nobu in NYC is over-the-top. Nobu Las vegas is good solid sushi... guess what?... so is the sushi served at the little sushi joint inside the Luxor, and less expensive. Nobu absolutely has the ""over-all experiance"" contest won, hands down. It's a cool space, great to be able to break away from the excitment of the Hard Rock for some delish sushi in a cool spot. BUT, for no frills, and less expensive and DEFENITELY less of a ""need-to-be-seen"" crowd... try that little sushi joint in the Luxor... and by-the-by have the saki even if it is in the AM... it's delish! Otherwise enjoy Nobu it was very enjoyable, solid sushi.
Pros: sushi, space, crowd
Cons: expensive, hyped
