I have been going to Andy's since the late 70's. I am one of the few people who actually grew up in Raleigh. Andy's is still my favorite pizza place in NC. I remember when Andy was alive and you could actually go in there and see him tossing dough in the kitchen. He treated us high school kids great when we came in for the lunch buffet. The menu has changed some since his death but you can still count on three constants: The Andy's Special, meatball sub, and submarine sandwich. All worth their weight in gold. Yeah, I'm a big Andy's fan and for those that never saw Andy in there working, you missed a really special guy.
