With the economic downturn, Tangos seems to have lost some of its trendy place-to-be status. The idea of spending 8 or 9 bucks on each of a series of appettizers (tapas) just to be chic or to look at the chic, well it's just not "appettizing" anymore. But it's not fair or accurate to rate Tangos on buzz-factor alone. The food is quite good, high quality. Drinks are great too. This should have been the one of if not the top late night place to eat. And if you don't want to spend a lot just don't eat a lot. This isn't Beth's. Finally as metioned elsewhere - the El Diablo is an all time desert masterpiece.
Pros: Great Atmosphere, Great Food, Open Late
Cons: Spendy, Parking
