I love Wild Ginger. three words: spicy green beans. amazing and the leftover that people keep picking at even when they are stuffed. for how big this place is and the number of people they churn through i think the quality is consistant and excellent. it is hard to get in although the satay bar is always open first come first serve and the entire menu is available. considering that their daily special sheet is longer than most restaurants' entire menus, go with lots of people so you can share family style and taste lots of different things. their dessert menu is pretty short (three things) but my understanding is The Triple Door (which is owned by the Wild Ginger people and right underneath the restaurant) has a fabulous dessert chef who bakes and makes magic.
Believe it or not, this is a child friendly place as well. they have lots of high chairs and enough buzz to mask any child's noise.
