35th St Bistro is a really enjoyable dinner destination. The staff are warm and friendly. The interior is light and upbeat, but also comfortable and warming.
35th St Bistro excelled at the appetizer, desert and sides, however the entrees were quite unspectactular.
We tried to entrees, rabbit and salmon. The rabbit was a bit dry, however the mashed potatoes that came with it were extraordinarily good. The salmon, particularly fishy, was served over gnocci and roasted vegetables.
The honey roasted sweet potato soup, and pots de creme dessert were both very good, and will probably bring us back to try 35th St. Bistro again. Hopefully we'll have better luck with the entrees.
