Hickory Street Bar and Grille is a great place to hang out at for awhile, and also a great place to get delicious food at too. They have a really nice location, right on Congress and 8th st. The tables are really cool hunks of marble, and the staff is definately "Austin Hip". The food is really good, they have a menu you can order from, or a huge buffet with salads and baked potatoes! The price is very affordable. The parking can be difficult sometimes, but during the day is pretty easy to find.
