Good Music, but don't eat here. Get a beer and chill. 5/20/2007

The music here is very good, but they can even screw up a hamburger. The outdoor seating is very relaxing and it is off the overcrowded sixth street path. more

Chill Bar 8/8/2005

Hickory Street has a very relaxing and chill atmosphere. This is a good place for happy hour to come and unwind with some co-workers. The drink specials are very nice and so is the staff. The food is delicious and not too expensive. If you looking for some place to have a good time with friends, I’d definitely suggest this bar. more

Great place to go before you head downtown 8/5/2005

Hickory Street Bar and Grille is a great place to hang out at for awhile, and also a great place to get delicious food at too. They have a really nice location, right on Congress and 8th st. The tables are really cool hunks of marble, and the staff is definately "Austin Hip". The food is really good, they have a menu you can order from, or a huge buffet with salads and baked potatoes! The price is very affordable. The parking can be difficult sometimes, but during the day is pretty easy to find. more
