Lack of Customer Follow-up for Incorrect Installation 1/24/2022

ARSput in a new system for us in Nov2021 and did not install the correct thermostat for the system we purchased. Tech said humidity control is one of the features that would not be available with the temporary thermostat. Techs claimed those were backordered and for US to call back in 2 months to see if they came in. Sales rep said to call back in 2 weeks. We tried every other week to contact them at the number they gave us to check to see if they came in but no one would pick up the phone. With the current weather the house is extremely dry because the humidifier would not turn on. Called service to have a tech come out and determine why the humidifier would not turn on (we know it is because of the wrong thermostat). I asked if they had any record of us needing the correct thermostat. They said no even though it was known we paid for it and they installed a temporary one. I regret trusting them that they would follow through on their word. Should have not signed the loan agreement until the correct thermostat was installed. It is sad I had to keep on checking for the thermostat instead of them putting in an order especially with the amount we paid for the system. Extremely bad and untrustworthy customer service. more
